Kara Rea: I've always dealt best with my emotions by doing three things: praying, writing, and talking. I started writing this blog as an attempt to process our family's unexpectedly difficult path to parenthood. And while my husband and I now have two beautiful girls, the experiences and emotions we felt during the years I kept this blog have shaped us and will always be part of who we are. I still pray for families who are experiencing miscarriage, infertility, and obstacles on their journey to parenthood. I still write about these hard topics in addition to my more light hearted pieces on the ups and downs of modern day motherhood. And I still feel called to sit and talk with people about the hard things. If you are interested in my writing, or if you are experiencing infertility or loss and you just want to talk, please email me at karaqwrites@gmail.com. I am pretty good at listening, too.
